Stella is the shortest student in her class. She always knew she was short, but now she knows for sure that she is the shortest. Her parents have told her not to worry about it too much. She’ll go through a growth spurt and be just as tall as her friends and classmates. Stella started taking gymnastics lessons last year. Mostly because her parents really wanted her to feel good about being a little on the short/small side. Stella didn’t think she was going to like the classes, but it turned out that she’s got some natural talent for the sport. She especially loves practicing floor routines. Her classmates call her ‘Popcorn’ because she just keeps popping up and flying around so easily! Stella loves that her stature is as asset in gymnastics, but still hates it when people think she’s in 3rd grade instead of 5th. When not practicing gymnastics, Stella loves playing with her two dogs, Binx and Trixie in the backyard. She’s started teaching them to run through obstacle courses. She also loves making her own jewelry and is excited to get her ears pierced on her next birthday.
