Description

This is a completely handmade original piece of artwork created by the seller, using patterns and designs of her own creation. This is an art doll, not a toy and is not intended for children under the age of five. There are sharp components to the pin back. And the tiny doll inside of the brooch is a choking hazard for very young children and pets.

Materials used in the construction of brooch: Carton board, acrylic paint, chalk-based acrylic gesso, coloured pencil, plastic, acrylic felt, PVA glue, paper, embroidery floss and a metal pin back.

Materials used in the construction of doll: Acrylic felt, polyester stuffing, embroidery floss, sewing thread, and yarn.

The doll (approximately 3.7 cm tall)  within the brooch is removable. The dolls clothing is not removable and is sewn onto the doll. The hair can not be restyled. The brooch should not be placed in direct sun or heat for a prolonged period of time, as the plastic used for the window of the brooch may begin to warp. To keep colours of felt and paint vibrant, do not place artwork in direct sun or heat for a prolonged period of time. Care should be exercised when wearing the brooch so as to not loose the lid or the doll contained.

This artwork has been made in a pet-free and smoke-free environment.
